The television show “NCIS” explores the professional and personal lives of a fictitious team of special agents as well as the cases they investigate. The first time the pair worked together was on the set of the 1957 film “Hell Drivers.” Between the years 1957 and 1967, they remained a couple. During the course of their partnership, they welcomed three more members into their family: Paul, Val, and Jason, who was adopted. According to The Scotsman, all five members of the family made the trip to the golden state together in the early 1960s. However, rumors have it that Ireland has moved on and is now seeing actor Charles Bronson, who was McCallum’s co-star in “The Great Escape.”
It is apparent that McCallum did not allow himself to be depressed for an excessively long period of time, though, since he married Carpenter, his present wife, in the exact same year. According to Express, they had first come into contact with one another in 1965, when Carpenter was working as a model in New York during a photo shoot for “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” While McCallum was 32 years old at the time, Carpenter had just turned 21 years old.
According to Express, McCallum popped the question to Carpenter not long after it became public knowledge that his marriage to Ireland had ended, and the newly formed pair married the ceremony not more than a few short months later. It is clear that McCallum and Carpenter bring out the best in one other, and since they have been married, the pair has been blessed with a son called Peter and a daughter named Sophie, in addition to a number of grandkids.

The actor had a very active year, as shown by the fact that he also shared a cute photo of one of his grandkids, who was dressed up as Harry Potter and looked adorable in the photo. On his Facebook page, McCallum said, “My Grandson at his six birthday celebration!”
During the month of April in the year 2020, the “NCIS” star posted:
“When this was being filmed four years ago, two of my grandsons were on site helping to put together one of the corpses. Putting paint on the toes Today, they are living with their siblings and carrying out their daily activities at home, just like hundreds of other youngsters their age. The fact that they are able to conceive of and carry out all of these different activities at the same time as everything else is going on blows my mind. Have a pleasant and secure life!
