Adorable 3-Year-Old Boy Leads His Preschool Class In Sweet Prayer
If you’re a parent or someone who works with small children, you know that taking care of toddlers is not a walk in the park. However, there’s no doubt that it’s rewarding and after a job well done, it’s joyous to look back at these times. Fortunately, people raising or teaching toddlers these days have easy access to recording equipment via their smartphones so they can capture on camera many of the most precious moments. Although kids that age will have more than their fair share of meltdowns, tantrums, and arguments, the fact is that the sweetness and joy far outweigh the rare difficult moments.
What many of us wouldn’t do to go back in time and spend one more day with our little ones at that age. It’s just such a sweet time. They’re so innocent and sweet that they bring joy to everyone who knows them. Not only are children this age playful and curious, but they also desire to be more independent and be “big girls” and “big boys.” You’ll certainly get more “no’s” from them at this age, but that’s just a part of the growing and learning process. So when you’re feeling discouraged after another hard day, just focus on those sweet moments with your little ones and know that this will pass (and you’ll miss it, believe or not).
Before you know it, the little ones are in school, or rather, pre-school. This lovable little boy in the video below is three-year-old Makhi Martin. When he was asked to lead his pre-K class in a lunchtime prayer, he didn’t just parrot a simple prayer. You can tell that this little guy has heard a lot of prayers at home and has even led several. He knows what he’s doing and he’s so heartfelt that it just makes my heart split in two with joy, truly.
With his tiny hands clasped and his eyes closed reverently, he says a sincere prayer that comes straight from his heart. Watch this adorable video below.
