Susan Boyle’s Striking Rendition Of “Silent Night” Is Giving Everyone Goosebumps
Believe it or not, but Christmas is only 18 days away, and I’m sure you can tell. There is a festive cheer in the air, and everyone is in the spirit of giving. People are busy running in and out of malls trying to collect their last-minute presents, and maybe some are just starting their shopping now. Whatever the case may be, the holidays have begun and are underway. But even if the hustle-bustle of the malls and the festive weather isn’t getting you into the spirit, then Christmas carols will do the trick!
I’m going to say that my favorite carols include the more upbeat ones like “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Frosty the Snowman.” But if you ask me to choose one of the slower, more melodic tunes, I’d go for “Silent Night”it’s one of my all-time favorites.
I always knew that there are so many versions of the song sung by many popular artists, but I was excited to hear that Susan Boyle has also sung a rendition of this classic and needless to say it’s fantastic.
Every artist brings something unique to a classic song that everyone loves. For many artists, you can hear their passion for singing in their voice; others will bring a different melody or tune to the song and add a unique twist. Although Susan doesn’t play around with the original version of “Silent Night,” her voice in itself adds a touch of magic to the performance. And, of course, she hits all the notes effortlessly.
