Co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox were even maids of honor at each other’s weddings.

Then there is the dynamic duo of Tim Allen and Tom Hanks, who became friends off-screen as a result of their on-screen chemistry.

No one, according to Allen, does he trust more than Hanks.
When they both appeared in one of the most recognizable animated films in recent memory, the two became friends.

Alongside Allen, who played the space ranger Buzz Lightyear, Hanks portrayed the toy cowboy Woody.

Since that time, the two have been having yearly lunches together as old friends.

When a fan noticed them dining together, Allen spoke openly about their bond.
Fans assumed that another Toy Story movie was in the works because the two key Toy Story actors were sitting at the same table.

On her show, Kelly Clarkson questioned Allen about this.

However, the actor swiftly changed his subject and spoke about his friendship with Hanks.

Despite their profoundly divergent viewpoints on certain issues, he claimed to have the utmost respect for Hanks.

He revealed the subtleties of their friendship as well.
Hanks, according to him, was the sort of person who would eat from someone else’s plate. Although Allen wasn’t really fond of this behavior, he always excused Hanks because he had become his brother.

After his performance in Toy Story 1 in 1995, Allen became well-known.
Tom Hanks, meanwhile, was already well-known before lending his voice to Woody.

Prior to the animated feature, he was well recognized for his roles in Forrest Gump and Apollo 13.

And despite all of their achievements throughout the years, they never stopped making time for one another.

Allen even told Clarkson that Hanks’ wife was unaware of their conversation.
Allen informed Clarkson that they both have very diverse viewpoints on so many subjects, so we can only assume that they discuss a wide range of topics.

But despite their disputes, the two never let their friendship suffer.

Allen attributes this to Hanks’ receptivity. Hanks, he claimed, was the first person to listen to him and never pass judgment.

In the next series The Santa Clauses, Allen will play the same part once more.
The miniseries followed the Santa Clause movie franchise. On Disney+, the program debuted last November 16th.

In contrast, Hanks will portray Geppetto in Robert Zemeckis’ Pinocchio.

His next projects include include Wes Anderson’s romance comedy Asteroid City and the comedy-drama A Man Called Otto.
