Although Patrick Duffy is well renowned for performing a number of classic roles on television, his portrayal of a family guy is perhaps more impressive.
Patrick became incredibly well-known and prosperous while playing Bobby Ewing on the daytime serial drama “Dallas.” Patrick played the part from 1978 to 1985 and then again from 1986 to 1991, and he held it dear to his heart. He even returned to the part in a later season of the show that ran from 2012 to 2014.
Patrick had fantasized as a young child about pursuing acting. He was born in Townsend, Montana, on March 17, 1949. He joined the drama club in high school and later earned a drama degree from the University of Washington. Later, Patrick was employed as a resident actor.
Soon later, Patrick received his “Dallas” lead role. He gained additional notoriety in the comedy “Step by Step,” in which Suzanne Somers also starred. From 1991 to 1998, Patrick played the role of Frank Lambert, keeping himself busy from the late 1970s through the late 1990s. Later, the actor was hired to play Stephen Logan on the daytime soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful,” where he appeared from 2006 to 2011.
In Patrick’s life, there have been numerous causes to rejoice. He has been in a number of popular television shows and amassed a sizable following. He has continued to keep himself highly active, making numerous TV movies over the years. In more recent years, Patrick has kept acting and has had appearances in “The Green Knight,” “Lady of the Manor,” and an episode of “NCIS.”
But over the years, Patrick experienced catastrophes. In an armed robbery in November 1986, both of his parents died.

Patrick gave himself time to mourn Rosser’s passing. January a conversation with in 2019, he expressed how much he missed some facets of his life with his deceased wife.
He said, “I still think of myself as a married man.”
The actor added that Rosser’s passing surprised him because he hadn’t anticipated it.
Patrick was fortunate to have a large network of friends and family, including his kids, to lean on during this trying time.
Years after Rosser’s passing, Patrick discovered a fresh cause for joy and demonstrated that he had left his heart available for love. According to PEOPLE, Patrick began dating “Happy Days” actress Linda Purl in 2020.
After the passing of his wife, Patrick put his children first, regardless of whether he found a new love. Padraic Duffy, who was born the same year they were married in 1974, and Conor Duffy, who joined their family in 1980, are his two boys from his marriage to Rosser.
Padraic, in contrast to his father, decided to pursue a career in theater, serving as managing director for a theater group in Los Angeles. He is married to Emily Kosloski, an actress who has been in “The Fosters,” “Dallas,” and “Weird City,” among other TV programs. There are two kids born to Padraic and Kosloski.
Contrarily, Conor followed in his father’s footsteps and made his television debut in the program “Dallas,” in which his father also acted. Additionally, he made guest appearances in several TV episodes, including “Good Girls,” “Superstore,” “The Mick,” and “Arrested Development.” He has two children with TV producer Emily Cutler, with whom he is married.
Patrick expressed his pride in his son on social media when Conor revealed that he would be serving as writer and director for a live reading of “Max & Willy’s Last Laugh” in 2019.

After the death of their mother, Patrick grew increasingly closer to his kids and occasionally formed bonds with them.
