Can you recognize her? Grab a tissue before you learn her true identity…

On The Real Housewives of Miami, Elsa Patton won over fans. Between 2011 and 2013, the television personality guest-starred on the program, and because to her success, “Mama Elsa,” she even had her own spinoff series.

Elsa underwent extensive plastic surgery in the meanwhile. She described her surgeon as “the man who wrecked my face,” completely altering her appearance. However, Patton, who passed away in 2019, actually appeared stunning even before her operations.

You only need to be aware of this.

One of the most important things in life is to feel good in your own skin. It makes no difference if this entails being larger, skinnier, shorter or taller, bald or hairy, or anything else involving looks.

We all have things with which we may not be quite satisfied. But in the end, it all comes down to how important it is to feel secure in who you are. The secret is to accept oneself rather than seeking approval from others.

Some people use different hairstyles, exercise, or even surgery to cope with their problems. Others believe that more fundamental transformation is required.

You should always do whatever makes you happy and comfortable, we’ll keep saying. However, regardless of the reason you are considering plastic surgery, we also suggest that you visit a reputable practitioner. Do your research thoroughly because your life is at stake.

Many Hollywood celebrities have made the decision to get plastic surgery. Others have gone to extreme lengths to, in their opinion, improve their appearance. Some have decided to address minor concerns, like wrinkles or perhaps a nose job.

Plastic surgeons have condemned some, like Simon Cowell, while others have changed their minds after the fact. Others have even elected to have their botox or other treatments removed in order to restore their natural appearance.

Speaking about extreme methods, plastic surgery can be risky. There are instances where a person’s face has been so completely ruined by plastic surgery that they are no longer even recognisable.

Elsa “Mama Elsa” Patton is one such illustration. Along with her daughter Marysol Patton, she rose to fame on the reality television series The Real Housewives of Miami. Elsa appeared on the show from 2011 to 2013, which was more than enough time for her to become a star.

She became a cherished character on the program thanks to her one-liners, giggle, and fiery persona. Elsa Patton underwent numerous plastic procedures, to the point that a plastic surgeon in Tampa, Florida called it out and declared that Elsa Patton was “no worse case” of plastic surgery gone wrong.

What transpired to Elsa, then? And how did she appear before to her several procedures?

It appears that the reality television star has chosen to lead a secluded life because a search of the internet turns up no in-depth interviews or feature articles about her. When she started appearing on The Real Housewives of Miami, everything changed.

Cuba is where Elsa Patton was born on August 25, 1936. Just 15 months before “Mama Elsa” left this world, her husband of 50 years, Donald Patton, passed away in 2018.

Thomas Anthony Jones and Marysol Patton were Elsa and Donald’s children. Through their participation on The Real Housewives of Miami, their daughter Marysol and Elsa would gain fame. Eight years after it was cancelled, the series was revived in 2021 for its fourth season, which also included Marysol.

Mama Elsa’s life is largely unknown outside of her time spent on The Real Housewives of Miami, as was previously reported. Marysol, her daughter, said in a RealityTea interview that her mother had always been a very social and well-known woman.

She recalled that when she was growing up, “my mother always had so many people who constantly wanted to be around her; a lot of celebrities, a lot of really significant people always wanted to be friends with my mother.” Everyone has always been fascinated by her, so there is no reason to believe that things will change.

When the two of us are out together on the streets, Marysol continued, “It’s a little different because people are approaching us, gazing at us, pointing, or taking pictures, so that’s a little unusual. But she really enjoys it.

Despite not being one of the “real housewives” on the show, she rose to fame. Fans, however, adored her fiery demeanor—often declaring “I’m a witch”—and one-liners when she joined her daughter Marysol on various occasions.

She quickly received her own show as the audience fell in love with her charisma. The spinoff Havana Elsa, which followed Elsa Patton’s journey toward launching her coffee company, debuted in 2012.

She proclaimed at the time, “I love Cuban coffee… and now I’m going to have a coffee of my own, that is going to be amazing, it’s going to be to my liking, and on top of that I’m going to make me money.”

There were just nine episodes of the show, therefore it didn’t last long.

In 17 episodes of The Real Housewives of Miami, Elsa Patton played the lead role. It was immediately apparent that Elsa Patton had undergone extensive plastic surgery throughout her life. Several images of Elsa when she was younger appear on the show and on Marysol’s Instagram page, showing a very different girl.

It was clear that Elsa loved cosmetic surgery, although several things went wrong during the procedure.

After a failed operation, Patton once referred to her physician solely as “the man who wrecked my face.” Elsa has opted to keep quiet a lot about her change, though. Marysol, her daughter, was the one who previously shared some information about “Mama Elsa’s” actions.

She claimed that her mother experienced “hematomas on her eyes for like three years” as a result of having her eyelids altered in the 1980s.

At the same time, two experts in plastic surgery have expressed their displeasure with Elsa Patton’s surgeries. There is “perhaps no greater case of plastic surgery gone wrong” than Elsa’s, according to facial plastic surgeon Benjamin C. Stong of the Kalos Facial Plastic Surgery in Atlanta, Georgia. It’s “nearly hard to even comprehend,” he continued, how she appeared prior to her operations.

Dr. Farrior, a double-board-certified surgeon in Tampa, Florida, described the situation with Elsa as a “tragedy” in moral judgment and surgical technique.

It’s possible that she persuaded someone to harm her rather than doing it to herself. That is where it ought to have ended,” Dr. Farrior stated, pointing out that it was the surgeon’s duty to decline additional surgery.

The decision she chose for a provider, he said, “was the actual fault because they did not say NO.”

At the conclusion of The Real Housewives of Florida, season 2, Elsa Patton’s health had gotten worse. Then, in 2013, just a few days before season 3 of the reality series began filming, she experienced a stroke and was sent to the hospital. She struggled to heal for several months, which is another reason why she missed much of season 3.

Her daughter Marysol confirmed what had transpired to RadarOnline at the time. Elsa had passed out on the bedroom floor when staff discovered her. Marysol was unable to speak or move her eyes when she arrived at the flat.

She admitted to RadarOnline that “she was quite lost.” “I initially believed that she had taken too much medication by mistake and passed out. That was obviously not the case. She had nothing on, which to me was the most concerning aspect, and I don’t know if she had just finished a shower or was getting out of one. That’s what frightened me the most.

Sadly, Elsa Patton’s health grew worse during the ensuing years. Elsa died on May 13, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones, according to her daughter Marysol, following a “long illness.” She was 84.

The statement stated, “The family is really appreciative of the numerous friends and admirers who have continued to pray for her and send their well wishes. They express gratitude to the neighborhood, her guardians, and the numerous friends who have stayed in touch with Elsa from all over the world. Their assistance has meant so much to the family.

Days later, the Real Housewives franchise’s founder and executive producer Andy Cohen paid a heartfelt ode to Elsa on his program Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Many friends and family members of the wives have been introduced to us over the course of the Real Housewives franchise, but few few have left such a lasting impression on us as Elsa did, according to Andy Cohen. Then he played some of her most memorable The Real Housewives of Miami moments.

Marysol Patton’s life progresses. She married French businessman Philippe Pautesta Herder during season 1, as reality program viewers may recall. Just a year later, the couple broke up, but Marysol has since found love again.

She married Florida-based construction firm president Steve McNamara in Mexico in April 2021. The Mayan ritual and shaman were both part of the very special private wedding celebration. It was done as a way of paying tribute to her late mother Elsa, a PageSix source said.

According to the source, “that was the foundation of her mom’s spiritual and religious roots.” “Elsa is still in command,” she said, “and she felt that her mother’s influence prompted her to arrange this kind of celebration.”

The fourth season of The Real Housewives of Miami was revived in 2021. Elsa and father Donald welcomed Marysol’s present husband into her life, she said in her homage to her mother at the start of the performance.

Marysol pointed to the sky and said, “My mom and dad sent him. “They are working for me up there.”
