Grace LePane will be 107 years old on December 8, 2022. She enthusiastically shared a portion of her life with the world while wearing gold hoop earrings and lovely necklaces.

Things weren’t always so bright and sunny. LePane had to deal with the Great Depression as well as the death of her seven-year-old son. Her husband died not long after that, so how did this woman survive for so long? Her response was straightforward.

LePane was cherished by her family, who enjoyed spending time with her. When asked about her favorite hobbies, the elderly woman laughed. She laughed and stated, ”

“What do I enjoy doing?” “I don’t want to do anything right now.”

Her loved ones, on the other hand, disagreed, pointing out that she was quite busy. LePane assisted her relatives in the kitchen, went shopping, and liked spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. “I’m content as long as my family is present.” “That is the most significant aspect,” LePane explained.

LePane lived in New York for 66 years before coming to Oviedo 41 years ago. Her family had always vacationed in Oviedo, so it seemed natural for her to relocate there.

Relatives from North Carolina, Missouri, Tennessee, Illinois, and New York were traveling in for her birthday party to commemorate her legacy and share wonderful memories together.

LePane clearly enjoyed her life and couldn’t wait to celebrate with her loved ones, saying, “Happy to have all my family here.”

LePane may not have discovered the fountain of youth, but her sense of humor is sure to keep her young. To prepare for her birthday party, one of LePane’s grandchildren painted her nails.

The centenarian, on the other hand, had high standards as a former manicurist. LePane answered with humor after a loved one complimented her on her gorgeous nails. “They’re nasty,” she said, before laughing.

The question that many individuals had after meeting LePane was always the same: Everyone wanted to know how she had managed to live such a long and happy life. She responded:

“Just to be happy.” “That is the most crucial.”

The comments weren’t innovative, but they were reassuring since they came from someone who had been around for more than a decade. If what LePane said is any indication, we should be more thankful, compassionate, and happy!
