Mariah Carey made her appearance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade a family affair.

On Thursday, Nov. 24, the 52-year-old singer performed her smash holiday hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” Carey was joined onstage by her 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Nick Cannon.

Carey sang in the center of a star-shaped stage, while her two daughters danced beside her inside two faux present boxes.

Moroccan sported a bright red sweater, while Monroe wore an all-white attire that included a tutu, tiara, and fairy wings.

Carey marked the occasion with an Instagram carousel of photographs and videos from her performance. Among the photos was a behind-the-scenes film showing the adorable cameo.

“Merry Thanksgiving!!!” “Grateful and so proud of my lovely kids Roc and Roe, grateful for the lambily and for the wonderful moments in life,” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram image. “❤️❤️❤️ Now it’s finally time!!!”

Following the procession, the singer expressed her gratitude on Instagram, writing, “basking in gratitude.”

Carey announced on social media on Nov. 18 that she would make a special appearance at the 96th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to close off the event and herald in the holiday season.

She commented on the wonderful occasion in an Instagram caption, adding, “My childhood dream is coming true!” At this year’s @macys Thanksgiving Day Parade, I’ll be opening for the one and only, SANTA CLAUS!”

Carey has been linked with the holidays over the years, and she has even shared fun videos teasing when it is proper to start blaring her No. 1 Christmas song.

Though she has not been issued the formal trademark of “Queen of Christmas,” admirers have given the singer that title for her unrelenting love to the season.

Even beyond the singer’s 1994 Christmas classic, the holiday season holds a special place in his heart for personal reasons.

“Honestly, Christmas is more significant to me on a soul level than any other holiday,” Carey told Shop TODAY through email.

“I had to face Christmases as a child with a terribly dysfunctional home.” During those difficult times, I never gave up on my aspirations and wished for the ‘ideal family vacation.’”

The mother-of-two is still working hard to make the holidays special for her children. “I plan for Christmas all year and create an environment that makes my inner child proud, and as a Mom, I do everything in my power to grant my children’s and loved ones’ Christmas wishes.”
