At the age of 77, Tom Selleck continues to look spry and active and is doing well in both Hollywood and his personal life. Even though his body is aging and has “let him down” the actor refuses to dye his hair and still commits himself to farm work. The star talked about his relationship with his dad and opened up on how as an older adult he sees himself as a chip off the old block, in an interview with GQ. While speaking about his likeness to his dad, he shared “I get a lot more like him. I hear him sometimes, in some things I talk about. Sometimes I hear him with my daughter. I don’t know what it was—my dad was a great guy, a great example. The Hollywood star added that he still feels guided by him.

“Every time I talk to my friends, they were scared to death of him. Well, he’s a big, six-foot-four guy, but he’s a very fair man. He coached the Little League team and did so much stuff. And I don’t mind that—it’s not ‘Oh, my God, I sound like my father.’ It’s welcome,” Selleck said. After winning hearts as the handsome Richard Burke in Friends, Selleck once again captured adoration 20 years later through the crime series Blue Bloods in which he stars as NYC’s Police Commissioner Frank Reagan. However, earlier this year, there were rumors that the star would leave the series, with a source claiming that he had become “tired of the Hollywood grind,” reported Express UK.
