The incredibly talented Lily Meola took the stage for America’s Got Talent’s 17th season, and she did her absolute best to stun the judges and everyone in the crowd with the opening performance of “Daydream.”
Lily Meola had an interesting and emotional conversation with judge Simon Cowell before her stirring performance on her five-song EP earlier this year, which may have helped to set the tone for Lily Meola.
Before the young performer could talk about everything, his mistress turned upside down. “I wrote it “Daydream” when everything in my life was really, very adorable and I was basically living for the day,” he said.
Following her mother’s cancer diagnosis, Lily Meola briefly took a break from the music industry to care for her, but her mother soon felt rejected by the disease.
The things that transpired in her life, according to Lily Meola, also made her feel compelled to pursue her destiny—in her case, being a singer who performed on the AGT’s main stage at the age of twenty-seven.
The audience in the hall was so enthralled by Lily Meola’s seductive and emotional performance of her opening song, “Daydream,” that they were unable to contain their enthusiasm as she took the stage to a standing ovation and applause from all four judges.
The “Daydream” singer must be introduced by Heidi Klum with a very loud shout-out since she was so moved by Lily Meola’s performance. This guarantees Lily Meola’s immediate advancement to the talent show’s live semifinal round. A lovely conclusion and start for such a gifted voice.
