These young men had a difficult upbringing. They were homeless and originally from Sierra Leone.
After receiving shelter and acceptance from the neighborhood orphanage, the boys were eventually introduced to Joe and Jamie Walker.
Because they didn’t want the brothers to be split up, the couple adopted them.
After the adoption paperwork was finalized last fall, Joe, Jamie, Abraham, and James all took a plane to Charlotte, North Carolina.

These guys now have access to all the things they never thought they would have in a loving family.
To children, everything is magical, he continued.
Every time they were introduced to something new, they would express how amazed they were. Even a simple carwash was like magic for them.
One day, last May 20, the family surprised Abraham on his 12th birthday.
She enters with an orange cake covered in candles in Jamie’s video and introduces him as Abraham.
The teenager sobbed.
He was stunned and unsure of how to react. You can see how delighted he was since tears were shed from his eyes.
They didn’t celebrate birthdays in Sierra Leone. In actuality, the brothers were unsure about their exact birth dates.
He had his very own cake for the first time ever. It was the first time he had a birthday party.
“I never give them a holiday. I had no idea it was my birthday,” remarked Abraham.
Abraham went to blow the cake instead, but instead he hurried to his father Joe and hugged him. He rushed over to Jamie and gave her a bear embrace.
Abraham sighed.
He was told over and over to blow his cake, and he eventually did. He raced back to his father and gave him another bear embrace.
The fact that the young man neglected to make a wish made them all giggle. Being his first time, he was unaware that he needed to make a wish.
Abraham remarked, “When I saw the cake, I felt that was the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen.” Not just a birthday cake, though. It’s a cake for blessings.
What a fantastic description of something we take for granted from a young man. Even when it comes to cakes, we frequently fail to recognize their value.
It’s not merely a birthday gift for someone.
For Abraham, a cake is another another representation of the blessings he is now experiencing, including the feeling of family and the blessing of having people who care about him and his brother.
These lads are lovely, and we could all learn something from their trending video.
Respect what you already have. Be thankful for everything you have to be happy.
Being able to eat, go to school, and be with your family is enough for us to recognize that every day is a blessing.
