Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Are Lighting Up The Internet With Christmas Song
For those of you who don’t know, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are one of music industry’s most adorable couples. Each sat as judges on the hit reality show The Voice and won over millions with their unique sounds – but it’s their most recent accomplishment together that’s raising eyebrows.
Instead of Gwen bopping out to a punk-pop tune or Blake crooning in his classic country voice, the pair collaborated on a heartwarming Christmas duet. Now the official video for their track “You Make it Feel Like Christmas” is gaining attention online.
You can see the love in their eyes! What a romantic way to declare their feelings to the world.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Blake admitted that his beautiful soulmate, Gwen, was the one responsible for making the song a success. Gwen’s vision for the song turned it from a catchy Christmas tune into a surefire holiday staple. Without thinking twice, she added her own wonderful flair to the track – and Blake was totally blown away by her creativity.
He gushed:
“I sent Gwen a couple of lines of the song. She took it and made the song what it is. I just sent her an idea. She tries to say that I co-wrote it, but I just sang on it.”
Blake lined up the pitch for his love and she knocked it out of the park! Together, they were unstoppable. That’s why they wanted to release an official video for “You Make it Feel Like Christmas.”
The pair boogied around a colorfully decorated set and carried fun holiday activities like picking out the perfect Christmas tree and making impressive snowmen! Gwen even took things to the next level in the video with her David-esque statue. She wanted to one-up her goofy man!
When it came to the singing, their voices blended perfectly. Somehow their two different genres were even better when paired together. Not only were their voices stunning, but their playful nature was too cute for words.
Gwen and Blake are clearly head over heels in love with one another.
When Blake’s co-host Jennifer Hudson commented on how beautiful Gwen looked in the video, he responded:
“How gorgeous does she look all the time? It’s unbelievable. Right now, wherever she is, she looks gorgeous, whatever she’s doing.”
Hopefully, these two talented artists release more duets in the future. We want to hear more from them – that’s for sure!
