True love doesn’t always last in Hollywood, but for Christopher Walken and his wife, Georgianne Walken, it does. For more than 50 years, the ‘Catch Me If You Can’ actor has been married to the former casting director. Christopher and his wife initially met when they acted as a pair in a West Side Story stage performance tour in 1963. In real life, the two fell in love and married six years later in 1969, according to Distractify. Christopher juggled his now-iconic acting profession with his new position as a doting husband throughout the early years of their marriage. Despite starring in films such as Hawaii Five-O in 1970, The Anderson Tapes in 1971, Valley Forge in 1975, and Kojak in 1977, he always found time for his wife. Christopher was immediately taken with her. They got along swimmingly, and the actor said, “She was a fox.” Georgianne also mentioned that she knew he’d be excellent. She reflected on the fact that she had never met someone like him before. They fell in love almost immediately. Today, he’s thankful for her support and care.

Throughout his career, Christopher has played a father, grandfather, and uncle in a variety of films. In reality, he and Georgianne have several nieces and nephews with whom they frequently spend time. “I do like to work as much as I can because I don’t have children, I don’t have hobbies, I don’t do anything else,” the Wedding Crashers star said in a December 2020 interview with The Hollywood Foreign Press. “And I’m glad that I don’t have children. I have two brothers and they have plenty of children, they come to my house and I am always very glad when they leave. I have a wife, I’ve been married for thirty-five years, and I have some cats, but I can open the door and they go out, so it’s quite nice.”
