Susan Sarandon is a grandmother to the children of her daughter Eva Amurri, who not only looks like her but shares similar qualities with her.

When Sarandon decided to have children, she received negative feedback from others. The actress opened up about her motherhood journey, revealing that one parent advised her against having children because it would seriously impact her career. There were people who advised Susan Sarandon not to have children earlier in her career. “I think it was, ‘Don’t have the baby,’ as though it would ruin my career, and I was so old anyway.” The actress further said, “I had my first baby at 39 and my third at 45, and with each child, [people were] like, ‘Are you crazy? Don’t,” People reported.

Eva Amurri, Sarandon’s first child with Italian director Franco Amurri, was her first child. Following that, the “Bull Durham” actor and his husband Tim Robbins had two sons, Jack Robbins and Miles Robbins, according to CloserWeekly. Sarandon’s children had an unusual childhood because their parents were A-list actors. Sarandon loved to travel and would take her children with her instead of leaving them at home. In 2021, she told The National, “I’ve dragged my kids all over the world.”
